Krell finished 3-1 in the 25 team Biosteel Oakville Fall Classic qualifying round, held September 8 - 10, 2017 at the Oakville Curling Club in Oakville, Canada. In their opening game, Krell defeated David Misun (Martin, SVK) 5-2, then won 6-4 against Daryl Shane (Listowel, ON) and 4-3 against SooHyuk Kim (Korea). Krell went on to lose 4-3 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
Krell earned 15.199 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Biosteel Oakville Fall Classic. For week 5 of the event schedule, Krell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
