In their opening game, Clasen lost 7-5 to Andrew Stopera (Briarcliff Manor, NY), droppimg another game, 11-3 to Josh Moore (Mapleton, MN). Clasen lost 6-5 to Andrew McDonald (Hudson, OH) where Clasen responded with a 8-5 win over Riley Fenson (Bemidji, MN). Clasen went on to lose 6-4 against Timothy Hodek (Fairdale, ND). Clasen lost 8-3 to Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA). Clasen lost 9-7 to Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). Clasen lost 8-1 to Trevor Marquardt (Poynette, WI). Clasen lost 7-5 to Kevin Tuma (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Clasen earned 0.306 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, Clasen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Clasen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
