In their opening game, Walker/Muyres defeated Maria Komarova/Daniil Goryachev (Moscow, RUS) 9-2, then won 7-6 against Jocelyn Peterman/Charley Thomas (Calgary, AB) and 9-2 against Jolene Campbell/Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
