Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) lost 6-1 to Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Players' Championship, held April 9 - 14, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 9-8 over Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2019 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 7-3 over Glenn Howard (Penetanguishe, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Koe finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe lost 6-5 to Howard, then responded with a 7-6 win over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Koe won 6-2 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE), then won 7-3 against Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO). Koe went on to lose 5-4 against Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Players' Championship, Koe take home 62.599 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 27.701 after improving upon their best so far this season.
