Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) won 9-4 over Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the BC Mens Curling Championship, held January 29 - February 3, 2019 in Quesnel, British Columbia.

Cotter finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter defeated Matthew Blandford (Victoria, BC) 9-2, then won 4-2 against Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC) and 7-5 against Montgomery in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC Mens Curling Championship Championship title, Cotter earned 17.719 world rankings points, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 42nd place overall with 97.832 total points. Cotter ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 88.197 points earned so far this season.
