Jie Mei (Beijing, CHN) finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mei defeated Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) 6-3, then went on to lose 7-6 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA). Mei responded with a 9-5 win over Constantini. Mei won 4-3 against Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, JPN), then won 7-6 against Koana. Mei went on to lose 5-3 against Roth in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Mei did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mei ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
