In their opening game, Louie lost 7-4 to Carson Lawrence (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 10-5 to Kyler Kurina (Lethbridge, AB) where Louie responded with a 4-3 win over Nicholas Woznesensky (Red Deer, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
