In their opening game, Wipf defeated Ben Kiist (Calgary, AB) 10-3, then went on to lose 10-2 against Clarence Cheung (Sherwood Park, AB). Wipf lost 9-6 to Cole Ector (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
