Kathryn Lepine (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2018 Red Deer Elks Junior Womens Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-4 against Emily Clark (Edmonton, AB).

Lepine finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lepine defeated Veronica Maschmeyer (Edmonton, AB) 6-3, then won 6-5 against Julia Bakos (Edmonton, AB) and 7-4 against Subasthika Thangadurai (Calgary, AB). Lepine won 5-4 against Catherine Clifford (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 9 of the event schedule, Lepine did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lepine ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
