To advance to the championship game, Mallais won 9-7 over Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2019 New Brunswick Scotties in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Mallais finished 2-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallais lost 10-7 to Samantha Crook (Sackville, NB), then responded with a 7-2 win over Marin McLeod (Fredericton, NB). Mallais won 6-5 against Robichaud. Mallais went on to lose 8-1 against Crawford in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the New Brunswick Scotties, Mallais take home 4.125 world rankings points.
