In their opening game, Heggestad lost 7-4 to Jo-Ann Rizzo (Brantford, ON), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Kaitlin Jewer (Lindsay, ON) where Heggestad responded with a 7-0 win over Ashley Waye (Toronto, ON). Heggestad won 7-4 against Kirsten Marshall (London, ON), then won 8-3 against Chrissy Cadorin (Toronto, ON). Heggestad went on to lose 9-4 against Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Heggestad earned 3.951 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 21 of the event schedule, Heggestad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Heggestad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
