Kim Rhyme (St. Paul, MN) finished 3-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rhyme defeated Cait Flannery (Chaska, USA) 7-2, then won 7-5 against Annmarie Dubberstein (Chaska, USA). Rhyme went on to lose 7-6 against Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks, AK). Rhyme responded with a 9-4 win over Sarah Walsh (Oakland, CA). Rhyme went on to lose 8-6 against Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USA Women's Challenge Round, Rhyme take home 4.125 world rankings points, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 134th place overall with 20.392 total points. Rhyme ranks 122nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.934 points earned so far this season.
