In their opening game, Jackson lost 7-5 to Rebecca Morrison (Aberdeen, SCO), then responded with a 10-3 win over Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO). Jackson won 14-2 against Maggie Wilson (Aberdeen, SCO), then won 11-7 against Muirhead and 8-1 against Morrison. Jackson won 5-4 against Wilson in their final qualifying round match.
