Steve Shuttleworth (Fairbanks, AK) finished 4-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuttleworth defeated Kenneth Starkey (Shorewood, MN) 7-2, then won 6-3 against Lyle Sieg (Blaine, WA). Shuttleworth went on to lose 8-6 against Geoff Goodland (Eau Claire, WI). Shuttleworth lost 7-2 to Ross Litman (Duluth, MN) where Shuttleworth responded with a 8-3 win over Mark Olson (Milton, WI). Shuttleworth won 8-3 against Doug Cameron (Duluth, MN). Shuttleworth went on to lose 9-5 against Gert Messing (Ballston Lake, NY) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Shuttleworth did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Shuttleworth ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
