Calvert finished 3-2 in the 24 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held November 1 - 4, 2019 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Calvert lost 5-3 to Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 5-1 win over Tyler Tardi (Surrey, BC). Calvert went on to lose 6-4 against Ty Dilello (Winnipeg, MB). Calvert responded with a 6-3 win over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 6-1 against Tardi to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
Calvert earned 15.758 world rankings points for their Top 8 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel. Calvert move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of -2.181 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 17th overall with 250.794 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
