Symonds responded with a 7-3 win over Wayne Fleming (Tempe, AZ). Symonds won 5-4 against Jordan Chandler (Manitoulin, NONT), then won 5-3 against JT Ryan (Winnipeg , MB) in their final qualifying round match.
