Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) won 8-2 over Maggie Wilson (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Mercure Perth Masters, held January 2 - 5, 2020 in Perth, Scotland. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Muirhead won 8-2 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) to advance to the championship game. of the 2020 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland;

Muirhead finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Amy MacDonald (Stirling, SCO) 12-0, then won 7-6 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) and 5-1 against Yu Han (Beijing, CHN). Muirhead won 9-4 against Irene Schori (Limmattal, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Mercure Perth Masters Championship title, Muirhead earned 36.058 world rankings points along with the $7,743CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 8th place overall with 330.042 total points. Muirhead ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 260.671 points earned so far this season.
