Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK) run at the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston, Ontario;

Dunstone finished 8-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone lost 5-3 to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 10-6 win over James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). Dunstone won 9-8 against Steve Laycock (Vernon, BC), then won 6-2 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) and 6-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Dunstone won 5-4 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, CAN), then won 12-3 against Thomas Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Dunstone went on to lose 9-5 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Dunstone lost 7-4 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, NONT) where Dunstone responded with a 9-8 win over Jason Gunnlaugson (Morris, MB). Dunstone won 6-5 against Gushue in their final qualifying round match.

Dunstone earned 48.692 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Tim Hortons Brier. Dunstone move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 44.152 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 11th overall with 254.712 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Dunstone ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 254.712 points earned so far this season.
