Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) finished 3-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker defeated Hollie Vincent (Red Deer, AB) 7-3, then won 7-1 against Sheena Engel (Okotoks, AB) and 10-2 against Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Alberta Scotties Provincial Qualifier Championship title, Walker earned 10.125 world rankings points. For week 22 of the event schedule, Walker did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Walker ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
