Kody Hartung (Langenburg, SK) run at the 2020 SaskTel Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-4 loss to Matt Dunstone (Regina , SK). of the 2020 SaskTel Tankard in Melville, Saskatchewan;

Hartung finished 5-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hartung defeated Brad Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) 8-5, then won 9-8 against Saskatchewan's Jason Jacobson. Hartung went on to lose 9-3 against Dunstone. Hartung responded with a 6-5 win over Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Hartung won 6-4 against Saskatchewan's Jason Jacobson, then won 6-5 against Dunstone in their final qualifying round match.

Hartung earned 14.471 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the SaskTel Tankard, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 60th place overall with 78.006 total points. Hartung ranks 70th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 65.279 points earned so far this season.
