Jamie King (Calgary, AB) finished 2-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, King defeated Dale Goehring (Calgary, AB) 9-3, then went on to lose 11-10 against Warren Cross (Edmonton, AB). King lost 9-5 to Ryan Norman (Slave Lake, AB) where King responded with a 6-4 win over Corey Leach (Lac La Biche, AB). King went on to lose 9-6 against Kalem Hamilton (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

King earned 1.145 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, King did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. King ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
