Brand lost 8-4 to Rob Retchless (Tunbridge Wells, ENG) where Brand responded with a 9-1 win over Woolston. Brand won 12-2 against Rees. Brand went on to lose 8-2 against Retchless in their final qualifying round match.

Brand move up 96 spots after posting a net gain of 0.515 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 489th overall with 0.534 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
