Stenlund/Olofsson Reaches 2020 Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship Quarters

Linda Stenlund/Simon Olofsson (Stocksund, SWE) qualified for the 2020 Swedish Mixed Doubles Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-2 against Monika Wrana/Mats Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE).

Stenlund/Olofsson finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stenlund/Olofsson lost 5-4 to Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE), then responded with a 9-4 win over Nina Eklof/Micke Andersson (Sundbyberg, SWE). Stenlund/Olofsson won 7-5 against Tilde Vermelin/Fabian Wingfors (Uppsala, SWE), then won 8-6 against Sarah Pengel/Fredrik Nyman (Djursholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Stenlund/Olofsson earned 5.310 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Stenlund/Olofsson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Stenlund/Olofsson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
