In their opening game, Babij lost 8-7 to Zack Shurtleff (Toronto, ON), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Jacob Reid (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Babij lost 13-4 to Charlie Richard (London, ON). Babij lost 8-7 to Nicolas Oake (Edmonton, AB) where Babij responded with a 9-8 win over Andrew Manson (Calgary, AB). Babij won 11-7 against Kurtwood McGuire (Thunder Bay, ON). Babij went on to lose 8-6 against Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Babij earned 1.603 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Babij did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Babij ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
