Cobelli/Mosaner finished 8-1 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cobelli/Mosaner defeated Johanna Heldin/Daniel Magnusson (Uppsala, SWE) 8-4, then won 10-8 against Palancsa/Kiss and 9-4 against Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Aarau, SUI). Cobelli/Mosaner won 8-7 against Hannah Augustin/Martin Reichel (Kitzbuehel, AUT), then won 11-4 against Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) and 9-5 against Laura Engler/Tom Winkelhausen (St. Gallen, SUI).
