To advance to the championship game, Cheal/Cheal won 7-6 over Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in the semifinals of the 2022 Finale Circuit GOLDLINE in TBD, Quebec; and won 9-3 over Edith Cottenoir/Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Cheal/Cheal finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cheal/Cheal defeated Aline Fellmann/Chris Kovalchuk (Montreal, QC) 7-6, then won 9-6 against Veronique Bouchard/Jean-Francois Charest (Saguenay, QC) and 7-5 against Emily Riley/Jesse Mullen (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Finale Circuit GOLDLINE Championship title, Cheal/Cheal earned 25.370 world rankings points along with the $1,300CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 62.354 total points. Cheal/Cheal ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 62.354 points earned so far this season.
