To advance to the championship game, Sauder/Harrison won 9-6 over Melissa Foster/Scott Foster (Burlington , ON) in the semifinals of the 2021 Oakville Mixed Doubles Classic in Oakville, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-7 over Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (St. Catharines , ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Oakville Mixed Doubles Classic in Oakville, Ontario, Canada;
Sauder/Harrison finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sauder/Harrison defeated Jenna Burchesky/Ben Richardson (New Pond, MA) 6-4, then won 6-4 against Michelle Butler/Jerry Butler (Cambridge, ON). Sauder/Harrison went on to lose 7-5 against Wasylkiw/Konings. Sauder/Harrison responded with a 7-3 win over Bailey/Sipura in their final qualifying round match.
