Pia-Lisa Schoell (Oberstdorf, GER) finished 3-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schoell lost 8-2 to Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN), then responded with a 8-7 win over Jasmin Lander (Hvidovre, DEN). Schoell went on to lose 8-1 against Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS). Schoell responded with a 9-5 win over Oihane Unanue (San-Sebastian, ESP). Schoell won 7-0 against Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR). Schoell went on to lose 8-6 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

Schoell earned 9.330 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.87 after improving upon their best so far this season. Schoell ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 64.400 points earned so far this season.
