Fujisawa finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Kitazawa 7-4, then won 8-1 against Yuki Shibuto (Hiroshima, JPN) and 8-6 against Kana Ogawa (Sapporo, JPN). Fujisawa won 8-5 against Yuna Kotani (Fujiyoshida, JPN). Fujisawa went on to lose 10-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN). Fujisawa responded with a 10-4 win over Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN). Fujisawa won 7-5 against Japan's Miori Nakamura, then won 8-0 against Asuka Kanai (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Japan Curling Championships Championship title, Fujisawa earned 37.109 world rankings points, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 32.693 after improving upon their best so far this season. Fujisawa ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 339.348 points earned so far this season.
