Josh Nowlan (Moncton, NB) finished 1-4 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nowlan defeated Chase MacMillan (Cornwall, PEI) 7-3, then went on to lose 14-5 against Scott Mitchell (Whitby, ON). Nowlan lost 9-1 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Nowlan lost 11-3 to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Nowlan lost 7-4 to Dallas Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Nowlan earned 1.247 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Nowlan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nowlan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
