To advance to the championship game, Burton won 9-3 over Ben Kiist (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 CYCA Ray Kingsmith Memorial Bonspiel in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada;

Burton finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burton defeated Cortland Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) 7-4, then went on to lose 7-2 against Wyatt Wright (Cochrane, AB). Burton responded with a 6-3 win over Lowell Whittmire (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Burton ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
