To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 6-1 over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 4-2 over Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada;
Tirinzoni finished 4-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni lost 6-5 to Walter, then responded with a 6-4 win over Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO). Tirinzoni won 5-4 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK), then won 6-4 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 6-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the RBC Dominion Securities Western Showdown Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $12,000CDN first prize cheque. Tirinzoni move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 18.75 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 305.336 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Tirinzoni ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 165.000 points earned so far this season.
