Lauren Cheal/Greg Cheal (Lennoxville, QC) won 8-7 over Laurie St-Georges/Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Summer Series, held August 19 - 22, 2022 in St-Felicien, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Cheal/Cheal won 7-3 over Nancy Martin/Brayden Stewart (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2022 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; and won 8-4 over Audrey Laplante/Jasmin Gibeau (Outaouais, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec;

Cheal/Cheal finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cheal/Cheal defeated Valerie Tanguay/Denis Robichaud (Quebec, QC) 6-3, then won 7-5 against Mackenzie Kiemele/Graham Singer (Guelph, ON) and 1-0 against Isabelle Neron/Alexandre Ferland (Quebec, QC). Cheal/Cheal went on to lose 7-6 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Summer Series Championship title, Cheal/Cheal earned 41.250 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 548th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 88.016 total points. Cheal/Cheal ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.250 points earned so far this season.
