Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) won 7-4 over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #1, held August 26 - 28, 2022 at the Leduc Curling Club in Leduc, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 6-1 over Krysta Hilker (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #1 in Leduc, Alberta, Canada;

Gim finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Lindsay Bertsch (Edmonton, AB) 6-5, then won 8-3 against Adele Purcell (St Albert, AB) and 6-4 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #1 Championship title, Gim earned 26.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 192.954 total points. Gim ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.000 points earned so far this season.
