In their opening game, Walker/Muyres defeated Emma Wiens/Andrew Nowell (Weyburn, SK) 8-3, then won 8-4 against Ashley Kalk/Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB). Walker/Muyres went on to lose 7-4 against Matsumura/Tanida in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Doubles #1 Championship title, Walker/Muyres earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 548th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 58.754 total points. Walker/Muyres ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.500 points earned so far this season.
