Rob Retchless (Preston, ENG) qualified for the 2022 Prague Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR). of the 2022 Prague Classic in Prague, Czechia;

Retchless finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retchless defeated Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP) 7-5, then won 9-3 against Karel Hradec (Prague, CZE) and 6-5 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO). Retchless won 5-4 against Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST), then won 10-1 against Kristof Czermann (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.

Retchless earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prague Classic. For week 15 of the event schedule, Retchless did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Retchless ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
