In their opening game, Kapp lost 6-4 to Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE), droppimg another game, 6-2 to Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL) where Kapp responded with a 6-5 win over Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Kapp won 10-2 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR), then won 10-3 against PaweÅ Hertman (Gliwice, POL) in their final qualifying round match.

Kapp earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Kapp did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kapp ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
