Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter/Cotter defeated Maia Belway/Cam Weir (Salmon Arm, BC) 8-7, then won 7-5 against Jorja Kopytko/Bryan Yamada (Vernon, BC) and 8-7 against Sarah Wark/Andrew Nerpin (Kelowna , BC). Cotter/Cotter won 8-0 against April Gale Seixeiro/Steve Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Nufloors Vernon MD Curling Classic, Cotter/Cotter take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Cotter/Cotter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cotter/Cotter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
