Aaron Van Ryssel (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-5 over Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) in the Final of the Morris MJCT Summer Spiel, held August 20 - 21, 2022 in Morris, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Van Ryssel won 9-2 over Zach Norris (Morris, MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Morris MJCT Summer Spiel in Morris, Manitoba;

Van Ryssel finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Van Ryssel lost 11-4 to Jonathan Kostna (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 14-1 win over Hunter Dundas (Winnipeg, MB). Van Ryssel won 7-2 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Van Ryssel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
