Chambers finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chambers defeated Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-2 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Chambers responded with a 8-7 win over Wasylik. Chambers won 6-5 against Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB), then won 11-5 against Aaron Van Ryssel (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
