To advance to the championship game, Powers won 7-5 over Jennifer Crouse (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2022 Bogside Cup in Montague, Prince Edward Island, Canada;
 
Powers finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Powers defeated Sarah Murphy (Halifax, NS) 4-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Suzanne Birt (Summerside, PEI). Powers responded with a 9-3 win over Lynn Anne Brousseau (Montague, PEI). Powers won 5-4 against Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Bogside Cup, Powers take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 19 of the event schedule, Powers did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Powers ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
