To advance to the championship game, Skaslien/Nedregotten won 7-2 over Jasmin Lander/Henrik Holtermann (Hvidovre, DEN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Gothenburg Mixed Doubles Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden; and won 5-4 over Jennifer Dodds/Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Gothenburg Mixed Doubles Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden;

Skaslien/Nedregotten finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaslien/Nedregotten defeated Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP) 8-7, then won 9-2 against Akvile Rykove/Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU) and 11-4 against Sara Carlsson/P.N. Raju (Hyderbad, IN). Skaslien/Nedregotten won 8-3 against Sofie Bergman/Patric Johansson (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Gothenburg Mixed Doubles Cup, Skaslien/Nedregotten take home 22.000 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize.
