Rob Johnson (Calgary, AB) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnson lost 7-3 to Parker Konschuh (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Cole Adams (Calgary, AB). Johnson won 9-5 against Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB). Johnson went on to lose 10-9 against Jamie King (St. Albert, AB). Johnson lost 6-4 to Adams in their final qualifying round match.

Johnson earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Johnson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Johnson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
