Chris Medford (Kimberley, BC) finished 1-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Medford defeated Sean Geall (Salmon Arm, BC) 8-7, then went on to lose 7-4 against Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC). Medford lost 7-5 to Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). Medford lost 7-2 to Geall in their final qualifying round match.

Medford earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Medford did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Medford ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
