Yoshioka lost 9-5 to Japan's Kotaro Noguchi. Yoshioka lost 14-1 to Hayato Sato (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Yoshioka earned 1.313 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Yoshioka did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
