Lesley Young (Stirling, SCO) lost 8-3 to Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Championships, held February 6 - 12, 2023 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Young won 5-2 over Lucy Blair (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2023 Scottish Curling Championships in Dumfries, Scotland, Scotland;

Young finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Young defeated Beth Farmer (Stirling, SCO) 7-6, then went on to lose 8-6 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Young responded with a 11-2 win over Jodi Bass (Dumfries, SCO). Young won 8-2 against Emma Barr (Stirling, SCO), then won 6-3 against Blair. Young went on to lose 11-5 against Morrison. Young responded with a 9-2 win over Amy Mitchell (Greenacres, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Championships, Young take home 16.500 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Young did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Young ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
