Wiebe finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) 8-2, then won 8-6 against Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC) and 6-5 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Wiebe won 6-1 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the SGI Canada Best of the West, Wiebe take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize.
