Emily Deschenes (Chester, CAN) finished 2-7 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deschenes lost 7-4 to Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE). Deschenes lost 7-4 to Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR) where Deschenes responded with a 7-6 win over Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Deschenes went on to lose 10-6 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Deschenes lost 12-3 to Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN). Deschenes lost 9-7 to Tessa Thurlow (Eau Claire, USA) where Deschenes responded with a 7-6 win over Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER). Deschenes went on to lose 8-6 against Xenia Schwaller (ZÃ¼rich, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Deschenes earned 2.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Deschenes did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Deschenes ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
