Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) finished 2-3 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter/Cotter lost 8-5 to Elizabeth Bowles/Brayden Carpenter (Victoria, BC), then responded with a 10-4 win over Alyssa Kyllo/Chad Kyllo (Vernon, BC). Cotter/Cotter went on to lose 8-7 against Steph Jackson-Baier/Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC). Cotter/Cotter responded with a 10-5 win over Megan McGillivray/Logan Miron (Victoria, BC). Cotter/Cotter went on to lose 7-5 against Taylor Reese-Hansen/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Cotter/Cotter earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Cotter/Cotter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cotter/Cotter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
