David Beesley (Edinburgh, SCO) finished 4-4 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Beesley lost 9-4 to Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO), droppimg another game, 8-5 to Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO) where Beesley responded with a 9-7 win over Stewart Kyle (Dumfries, SCO). Beesley won 12-9 against Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO). Beesley went on to lose 9-6 against Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO). Beesley responded with a 8-5 win over Fraser Swanston (Forfar, SCO). Beesley won 8-7 against Ethan Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). Beesley went on to lose 6-1 against Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Beesley earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Beesley did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Beesley ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
